The Vice President, Performance Marketing is a capable and proven leader who is able to make high level decisions, communicate effectively and prudently influence the greater marketing organization. This includes building synergies with the brand, communication and marketing operations teams and other team leads as well as various departments at Pure Flix (licensing, engineering & operations, member services and admin., etc.). The VP will also present strategies and results to executives and content providers, guide media agencies and data service providers and work closely with a wide variety of media partners/platforms to deliver reach and innovative performance-based programs. The VP is a Pure Flix team leader, embedded within the Sony Performance Marketing Group to take advantage of intercompany synergies (data share, best practices, innovative concepts, purchasing discounts, etc.).

Responsibilities include:
• Thorough understanding of the Pure Flix faith & family member community, existing and prospective audience segments, and establish messaging and media advertising communications that effectively and empathetically connect to inspire action and advocacy
• Responsible for building and leading a highly collaborative team and the corresponding agency/data science teams to build a best-in-class performance marketing product. This includes creating and implementing paid digital performance strategy, developing an effective media mix across platforms, overseeing performance media programs and partnerships, delivering an effective audience strategy, and developing and identifying actionable campaign analytics to inform optimizations and future planning. This individual must be passionate about marketing, data and technology to drive departmental innovation that includes performance optimizations.
• Helping to bridge the gap between the Pure Flix and Sony Performance Marketing Teams. This will include assisting in developing synergistic best practices, cost reduction, expansion innovations and especially data share.
• Work collaboratively and collegially with the Sony team as a peer while also leading the Pure Flix Performance Marketing Team with excellence.

Qualifications include:
• Demonstrated proficiency in social ads management (Google AdWords / Bing Paid Ads, Google Analytics, Retargeting and Google Display, Social Platform Advertising: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and video advertising, AdRoll and others including traditional channels.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with pay-per-click (PPC) search engine, display, social media, video, and mobile advertising and analytics. Entertainment Marketing preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
• Media Math Understanding; CPMs, CPCs, CAC, TAC, CTR, etc.
• Ability to analyze data and trends in order to continually optimize media campaigns for efficient ROI.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
• Solid knowledge of SEO
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Docs
• Self-starter, Passionate, committed with a high level of energy
• Ability to: manage multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a very fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Current Google AdWords certification
• Current Google Analytics certification (preferred)
• HubSpot CRM experience a plus.
