Social Media Specialist II, Facebook Marketing - Pure Flix

Sony Pictures Entertainment – Pure Flix is looking for a Social Media Specialist II for the growth and day-to-day operations of its Facebook page and various related fan pages.

In this role you will be responsible for the health and growth of our Facebook page by working cross-team on strategy, and maintaining and executing the content calendar including posts, stories, data analysis, and some page moderation in collaboration with the community team. Your goal will be to grow the page follower count along with our impressions and engagements. You will also be responsible for engaging and cultivating various Facebook groups and subpages, and growing the Facebook conversation about Pure Flix.

You will join a team that creates and originates new ways to celebrate the Pure Flix community, promotes Pure Flix original content, and grows our Facebook influence by making sure title priorities and cross-team ideas are translated into effective assets and campaigns.

Responsibilities
• Facebook content creation: develop monthly content plans while adapting and adjusting for weekly and daily social needs. You will work across the Pure Flix Facebook page. in stories, and across various segmented Facebook groups and other pages.
• Stay current on monthly titles coming to the streaming service and Originals that are in production
• Drive the Facebook content calendar while taking into account important things to the Pure Flix brand related to events, people, facts, dates, themes…etc. for immediate or future content.
• Assist in the ongoing social content collaboration across the other Pure Flix social channels.
• Asset organization, approvals, and quality control: Maintain publishing calendar with real-time posts and placeholder planned content.
• Ensure appropriate approvals are collected and received before posting.
• Ensure quality control of all publishing in the native platform itself, including copy, video sizing, captions, CTAs.
• Responding & moderating public posts in coordination with the community team
• Reporting & Analysis on specific details of posts in copy, art, or testing

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field with a desire for continuous learning.
• Certifications in social media marketing
• Customer service or public relations experience
• Knowledge of Facebook publishing and community standard methodologies and experience in growing a brand's page followers, engagement, and reach.
• Self-reliant, good problem-solver, results oriented with the ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
• Attentive to detail and adaptable to changing priorities particularly in terms of writing assignments.
• Excellent and persuasive communicator with exceptional written, oral and interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively work with senior management.
