PMC: Vice President, Head of Industry; Pharmaceutical/Health
In this role, you will leverage your Pharmaceutical/Health network, experience and deep industry knowledge to develop strategic partnerships that span the entire PMC portfolio of brands (Robb Report, SHE Media, SXSW, The Golden Globes, Rolling Stone, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, Sportico, WWD and so many more…). You will use a solution-centric approach to create a differentiated partnership model that spans live events, custom and branded content, and earned/ paid media. In addition, you will act as an industry expert internally, consulting with brands on positioning and relevant offerings for this vertical. A key driver of success will be collaboration internally across brand teams, as well as corporate.
This job requires proven leadership, a strong network, expertise and experience in the vertical. The VP, HOI; Pharmaceutical/Health will be highly visible within the advertising and marketing community, specifically at relevant industry events.
What you'll do:
• Primary liaison, internal advocate, consultant and leader representing PMC with a specific focus on key C-Level relationships within the Pharmaceutical/Health Industry, in partnership with Brand Sales leadership, the Corporate HOI, Marketing, International and Programmatic teams.
• Identify key initiatives and areas of focus that align with PMC solutions to develop holistic marketing partnerships that incorporate a unique combination of experiential, media, insights, and other PMC services/ products. Sometimes, this will require developing net new offerings.
• Be an industry expert within PMC, consulting and delivering insights/ states of industry across PMC executive teams, brand teams and other key stakeholders.
• Partner closely with Trading and International Agency Teams to ensure strategic and commercial elements are driving towards our prioritized business goals.
• Structure and develop a strategic agency narrative to drive growth and adoption of PMC's portfolio of solutions within the industry.
• Represent PMC in the vertical through speaking and thought-leadership opportunities at Pharmaceutical/Health conferences and other relevant events.
What you'll bring:
• 10+ years of advertising and/ or marketing experience within or leading Pharmaceutical/Health businesses or accounts. This is an IC role.
• In addition, other experience includes, but is not limited to deal negotiation experience, senior relationships in the vertical, as well as a deep industry expertise.
• A deep knowledge of various deal types across multiple platforms, compliance requirements, internal systems, approvals processes, providing mentorship and insights to the PMC Sales teams to drive revenue opportunities.
• Significant proven track record of driving new business and partnerships in Pharmaceutical/Health.
• Experience developing strategic partnerships and innovation in marketing collaborations and deal structures.
• Experience in working for matrix organizations & ability to win the support and drive deliverable timelines from key internal cross-functional partners.
• Shown success in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Typical wage range: $190k - $220k + Bonus.
