Pluto TV is free advertising supported television and is focused on developing and optimizing features around the world. We are seeking a Platform Product Manager to join our Platform team - passionate about working with a cross-functional agile team and internal partners to develop user experiences to grow important metrics such as Monthly Active Users (MAUs), Total Viewing Minutes (TVMs) and revenue generation by supporting advertising products.

You will own the partner intake and launch process, coordinate and own the daily scrum teams and backlog and handle the quarterly roadmap and planning process. The Platform PM will offer significant value to the organization by improving the power of the streaming platform to support the many products and services that are built upon the platform and apps.

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading an Agile development scrum team and backlog that supports and develops improvements to our WebCTV core initiatives. Since our WebCTV infrastructure is so fundamental to our business, this role will bring executional skill and a proficiency in balancing multiple priorities that will strengthen the features, stability, performance and capabilities of our platform.

Day to day
• Define, deliver, and measure progress against OKRs in your domain in service of the larger organizational and company-wide OKRs
• Serve as the customer voice in development ceremonies
• Partner with stakeholders while serving as the platform/product evangelist for the products within your domain
• Own product KPIs. Measure and improve upon QoS / QoE metrics
• Lead priority shifts, dependency/sequence considerations, and sprint injections
• Working as a servant-leader within the team, using leadership skills to cultivate healthy and productive working relationships within your teams
• Negotiate priority, sequence and scope of delivery while optimizing business value
• Developing and maintaining a healthy working collaborations functional teams throughout the organization, including but not limited to data integration, business intelligence, DevOps, STE, and legal
• Driving your teams to balance speed and executional excellence
• Actively identifying and removing impediments that may impact team velocity or deliverables

Qualifications
• 3+ years or comparable experience in software product management in a complex technical environment
• Experience and knowledge in Agile software development ideally focused on B2C applications
• Adept with software development teams to remove cross-team dependencies, with validated experience driving those teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency
• Experience balancing priorities, driving partner reporting, and interfacing between a technical team and business partners, and leading multiple scrum teams
• Proven understanding of data, and ability to communicate proficiently in the language of data

Preferred Skills
• Working knowledge of streaming technologies
• Connected TV/VOD/OTT platform experience and domain knowledge
• Los Angeles area or West Coast based is preferred, but open to other domestic locations

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $86,000.00 - 130,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
