We're seeking a Platform Product Manager to develop video functionality and experiences on the Roku platform for VOD and Linear TV at scale. You'll be joining our Client Platform team; passionate about working with a multi-functional agile team and internal collaborators to support platform development, develop user experiences, grow important metrics such as Monthly Active Users (MAUs), Total Viewing Minutes (TVMs) and help drive revenue generation by supporting the development of adtech products. You'll own the day to day for the product, manage team priorities, handle the product intake and deployment process, lead all aspects of and run daily scrum meetings, drive your team's quarterly roadmap and planning process, work with UX to optimize design for the platform, write user stories and tasks, and maintain and prioritize a JIRA backlog to drive features to completion. This role will offer significant value to the organization by improving the power of the streaming platform to support the many products and services that are built upon the platform and apps. This role requires executional skill and a proficiency in balancing multiple priorities that will strengthen the stability, performance, and capabilities of our platform.

Day in the life
• Define, deliver, and measure progress against OKRs in your domain in service of the larger organizational and company-wide OKRs
• Serve as the customer voice in agile development ceremonies - standups, refinements, planning, etc.
• Partner with collaborators while serving as the platform/product evangelist for the products within your domain
• Own and be able to showcase and analyze product critical metrics in order to measure and improve upon QoS / QoE metrics
• Complete several initiatives concurrently across different verticals focusing on partnerships, revenue, and consumer features
• Negotiate priority, dependency/sequence considerations, and scope of delivery while optimizing business value
• Keep internal and external partners informed of roadmaps
• Work as a servant-leader within the team, using leadership skills to develop healthy and productive working relationships within your teams
• Develop and maintain a healthy working collaborations functional teams throughout the organization, including but not limited to data integration, Business Intelligence, DevOps, STE, and Legal
• Drive your teams to balance speed and executional excellence
• Actively identify and remove impediments that may impact team velocity or initiatives

Qualifications
• 3+ years or comparable experience in software product management in a complex technical environment, preferably on CTV devices
• Experience and knowledge in Agile software development ideally focused on B2C applications
• Adept with software development teams to remove cross-team dependencies, with validated experience driving those teams to higher levels of productivity and efficiency
• Experience balancing priorities, driving partner reporting, and interfacing between a technical team and business partners
• Solid grasp of data, and ability to communicate with others, proficient in the language of data
• Experience using data to drive important business decisions

Bonus
• Working knowledge of streaming technologies in a fast paced environment supporting millions of users
• Proven knowledge of streaming platforms like Android/Fire TV, Roku, Apple iOS/tvOS or CTVs.
• CTV/VOD/OTT experience and domain knowledge of the Roku platform
• Los Angeles / West Coast based (open to other remote locations)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $120,000 - 145,000.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
