Manager, Streaming FP&A

Job Description

We're looking for a new team member to join our FP&A department. Please note that we are also open to candidates in other European countries (France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands).

This is a great opportunity to join the Paramount team! As a new member of the FP&A department, you will have the opportunity to work with other members of your team to ensure that all of our financial operations run smoothly.

The manager will help co-ordinate and liaise with the FP&A and Streaming teams throughout Paramount International in order to deliver efficient and effective FP&A processes and outputs:
• Support Financial Planning & Analytical processes across all of Paramount International (including P+, Pluto TV and Other SVOD);
• Develops open communication and productive relationships with leadership, operations and finance, including the FP&A COEs (Centres of Excellence);
• Works in collaboration with the systems teams to ensure the relevant analytical tools supports the reporting processes;
• Promotes a strong sense of excellence, urgency and appropriate level of support for deliverable.

As a key member of the global accounting function your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Process:
• Support all Streaming planning processes including outlooks, monthly forecasts, annual budgets and long range plans particularly for non-financial metrics;
• Critically evaluate regional submissions;
• Provision of detailed guidance & instruction outlining the processes and deliverables;
• Management and communication of the Streaming planning calendar ensuring co-ordination with Paramount International (Corporate and Finance teams), Paramount Global (Corporate and Finance teams) and local businesses;
• Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analysis and reporting of financial performance.

Presentation & Reporting:
• Creation, and on-going enhancement, of all planning and analytical presentation decks and supporting schedules for management purposes;
• Reporting to senior management, both in Paramount International and International Streaming, in regular forecast updates;
• Co-ordination with other finance teams where relevant to provide deeper level of understanding of relevant drivers.

Support & ad hoc project work:
• Work with the COEs (Centres of Excellence) to help them understand reporting requirements and systems;
• Work with COEs to help integrate/utilise new systems or feature to improve current COE processes;
• Be a go to contact for COE analysts for additional Streaming FP&A related support;
• Support the design of scoping and reporting new GL hierarchies or lines of business, master governance as it relates to Streaming;
• Support adhoc projects relating to Streaming.

This is what we are looking for:
• You have broad financial experience in a media, entertainment, technology, internet or an adjacent industry;
• You have a proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced corporate culture;
• BSC/ MSC degree in Accounting/ Finance;
• MBA, CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA are preferred;
• English (C1), excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills;
• Well organized with strength in prioritizing;
• Flexible attitude to achieve results.
