Scope of Job: At Pluto TV, we approach development, testing and product releases differently -- we are developing, testing, and breaking code constantly, but we help rebuild it better. The Release Engineering team designed Pluto TV's release process from inception to production and guarantees that quality has been embedded into all aspects of the SDLC before releasing products. As a Manager of Release Engineering, you partner with all collaborators and partners (Engineering, Software Test, Product Management, Program Management) to facilitate and communicate release breakthroughs, activities & announcements. Furthermore, the Release Engineering team will be the gatekeepers of our releases and deployments for all platforms. The RM will also act as a representative of the Software Test & Operations Engineering Team in scrum meetings and provide recommendations on how to provide better processes, ensuring quality and consistency for the applications supported.

Responsibilities:
• Work in an Agile Software Delivery methodology highly focused on collecting information to communicate release milestones.
• Management / Mentorship of Release Engineers
• Develop, maintain and facilitate ''Change Approval'' process within the enterprise for all software releases, configuration & infrastructure changes.
• Perform deployment of application code to all environments (including production) using a CI/CD process developed by the Release Engineering team.
• Pioneer the development of ''CI/CD'' pipeline
• Process definition of SDLC across all Pluto TV engineering teams
• Partner with Engineering and STE to define Quality gates within the CI Process.
• Management of usage scheduling and management of test environments.
• People management / mentorship to all varying levels within the Release Engineering organization.

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of direct people management experience onsite, near-shore and offshore teams
• 5+ years Release Management experience within an enterprise environment, performing production releases
• 5+ years experience developing SDLC processes that can be implemented and enforced on multiple agile teams
• 3+ years experience with developing CI/CD process using tools such as GitHub actions and Harness.io
• 3+ years project management experience
• 2+ experience with Version Control systems (GitHub, BitBucket, etc)
• 3+ years of experience managing and maintaining tools such as Jenkins, Nexus, Sonar, Maven, etc.
• Exposure to security tools such as CheckMarx/Veracode and working knowledge to implement as a step within the SDLC
