Job Summary

This position is responsible for procuring, developing, and managing gameday promotional giveaways and select promotional events. This person will also research trends and industry benchmarking regarding giveaways and promotions. Additionally, this person will lead a Bucco Brigade staff that is comprised of gameday staff and Fan Engagement events outside of PNC Park. This role is also responsible for supporting the work of the Marketing and Fan Engagement team.

Responsibilities

Primary:
• Organize and participate in ideation process to plan the organization's promotional calendar.
• Ideate and plan key organizational events including, but not limited to, Pirates Fest, Block Parties, Kids Sundays and in-market activations.
• Implement and execute an organized system to support Group Sales with group nights and theme nights including in ballpark planning and ordering promotional items.
• Utilize internal Business Intelligence team to analyze ticket purchase patterns and attendance numbers for key promotional nights.
• Collaborate with internal Ballpark Entertainment group, Corporate Partnerships, Group Sales and Marketing to bring key elements of activations seamlessly into the gameday environment.
• Plan and support all gameday theme and specialty nights.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Secondary:
• Support departmental efforts including, but not limited to, alumni events, advertising efforts and event coordination.

Requirements

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sports Management or equivalent.
• One (1) to two (2) years of Marketing, Promotions, and/or Purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Desired:
• Experience with a professional sports team.
