We are seeking a Senior Analyst who loves to explore trends, reveal the consumer ''why,'' and spark creative solutions. This role will report into the Director, Consumer Insights, and work most closely with the Sr. Manager, Children's Insights.

You will:
• Be a multi-modal researcher involved in different quant, qual, social listening, and trends analysis to address business questions from publishers, sales, editors, marketers, and publicists.
• Use third-party and owned analytics tools and data sets to support our research, including syndicated survey platforms, social listening and social media platform analytics tools, and website analytics.
• Curate content for our proprietary insights website, and promote research findings with internal stakeholders .
• Position insights to influence key areas of the business, including trends, genre research, and retailer and shopper data.
• Get exposure to a wide variety of stakeholders and business needs, with lots of opportunity to grow research and strategic skills.

We're looking for:
• Minimum of 3 years of consumer insights analyst experience in a business or agency setting
• Strong aptitude in learning new tools and methodologies
• Experience creating PowerPoint reporting for business lead stakeholders; proficient in Excel (ex: crosstab analysis)
• Persuasive communication and writing skills
• Strong interest in children's media
• Experience in trends analysis and/or synthesizing trends insights alongside quantitative insights
• Interest in reading and book publishing (NOTE: no prior publishing experience required)
• Pluses:
• Social media platform and listening analysis
• Q or related research software experience
• Children's media experience in a research or content role
• WordPress experience, content/project management

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $79,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to company results.

The salary range listed is specific to each particular open position and takes into account various factors including the specifics of the individual role, and candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
