Project Manager, IT Security (Open to Remote)

The Jr. IT Security Project Manager will be responsible for assisting in the management and execution of IT security projects. This role requires mid-level project management skills, including the ability to manage meetings, document meeting minutes, and ensure timely completion of action items. The successful candidate will possess effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. While beginner-level knowledge of information security principles and best practices is helpful, we're particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate a strong desire to learn and deepen their understanding of IT Security. Familiarity with various security technologies such as network security, endpoint security, identity and access management (IAM), SIEM, and cloud security is a plus. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our organization's security posture and the successful implementation of our security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning and creation of project plans, and implementation of IT security projects
• Manage project meetings, accurately capture meeting minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure project milestones are met
• Monitor project progress, handle any issues that arise, and report on project status to stakeholders
• Send and maintain weekly executive-level status reports

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
• 1-3 years of experience in project management or IT Security
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
• Possession of PMP, cybersecurity certifications (SEC+, CISA, CISM, CISSP), or relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a college degree
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite, specifically PowerPoint
• Familiarity with waterfall and agile project management methodologies

The salary for this position is $85,000-$100,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
