Job Description
Penguin Random House Publisher Services is committed to providing the highest level of sales and distribution services to over 50 independent publishers of all sizes across a variety of publishing categories. The PRHPS Finance team plays a critical role in the success of the business.

This Analyst will act as a liaison between the Client Operations and Corporate Accounting groups and provide support to the senior PRHPS Finance team for ongoing projects. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail and a knack for understanding financial concepts and explaining them in clear, concise language.

In this role, you will:
• Oversee processes for reviewing monthly financial statements, including troubleshooting ad hoc questions and issues related to the statements
• Run recurring manual billing reports in Excel and other PRH systems
• Maintain various resource documents/spreadsheets for the Client Operations group
• Submit invoices and handle some data entry
• Assist with budgeting and re-forecasting cycles

Ideal candidates will meet the following requirements:
• Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience
• Understanding of basic accounting practices and financial reporting
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving
• Excellent data management skills
• The ability to prioritize, multitask, and work both independently and collaboratively
• Some knowledge of SAP a plus

The salary range for this position is $63,000 - $70,000. All positions are currently eligible for annual profit award or bonus, subject to Company results.
