Job Description
Assistant Director, Marketing, Hogarth Books and Random House (Open to Remote)

The Random House imprint was founded in 1927 with a mission that was simple, humble, and beautifully open-ended: to publish ''a few books, on the side, at random.'' Random House would go on to publish more than a few books on the side-becoming a cherished home to Maya Angelou, Truman Capote, Eudora Welty, William Faulkner, Edmund Morris, and many, many others-publishing authors who would win the Nobel Prize, the Pulitzer Prize, and the National Book Award. Today, Random House remains as dedicated as ever to a diverse and far-ranging list of fiction and non-fiction, one that is bound only by our commitment to the highest quality and the size of our authors' imaginations.

Hogarth Books, an imprint of Random House, is named in honor of The Hogarth Press, founded in 1917 by Virginia and Leonard Woolf. Today's Hogarth publishes fiction and non-fiction by exceptional writers who are deeply engaged with the world, with an emphasis on new and international perspectives. Our authors have won and been finalists for most major literary prizes, including the Booker Prize, the Booker International Prize, the National Book Award, and the National Book Critics Circle Award.

We are seeking an experienced, creative, and enthusiastic marketer to join the team. This title-marketing position, reporting to the Director of Marketing, will lead innovative consumer-facing campaigns to bring the imprints' publications to the largest possible readership.
