The TVEverywhere group is an integral part of the NBCU Streaming experience. We are responsible for streaming products for NBCUniversal brands such as NBC, NBC Sports, Bravo, SYFY, USA, E! and Telemundo on desktop, mobile and connected device platforms. We also support the voting apps for popular shows such as the Voice and America's Got Talent.

We are seeking a UX Prototyper to evolve and elevate the experience of watching entertainment, live events, kids, news and sports content in and out of the home. As part of the product team, you will collaborate with design, product, technology, marketing, data, and insights teams to elegantly solve problems for users while driving business value. You are a tinkerer, you like to build beautiful things, you like to experiment with the latest trends. You're someone who stays on the cutting edge and doesn't mind problem solving on your feet.

As a UX Prototyper you will:
• Produce interactive prototypes to assist in user research and feature development.
• Translate UX documents (flows, wires, comps) into functioning prototypes for multiple platforms, including TV, iOS, Android and web.
• Build prototypes across a range of visual fidelity and complexity utilizing different tools, platforms, and programming languages.
• Collaborate daily with product managers, product designers, and user researchers in order to understand team goals for developing prototypes for user validation.
• Translate design thinking to client teams.
• Be a thought leader in bridging the gap between design and client engineering.
• Work on multiple projects at once.
• Build and maintain reusable frameworks and libraries to enable rapid iteration on high fidelity prototyping.
• Stay on top of the latest industry trends and advising the product and design teams.
• Work independently and be hands on.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience in development or prototyping.
• Portfolio of relevant prototyping work.
• Experience working with multiple teams supporting parallel efforts.
• Experience with Agile product development.
• Knowledge of streaming platforms (AppleTV, Roku, Amazon Fire, Samsung…) is beneficial, especially the UX guidelines, design language and interface design elements used by these platforms.
• Knowledgeable in Sketch, Figma and Zeplin as part of a delivery workflow.
• Experience building software prototypes on consumer hardware.

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience working with both developers and design teams.
• Experience in a large-scale, consumer-facing organization, preferably in the media space.
• Experience with a variety of platforms, languages, and tools such as:
• ReactJS Framework, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Swift and UIKit development for iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS, Unity3D, Android SDK and Android development, Framer, Proto.io
• Hands on team player, who can handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to think in terms of user goals, infusing work with empathy, and striving for accessibility.
• High degree of creativity and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills: communicate ideas through information & presentations.
• Drive to deliver compelling, best in class experiences for consumers and proven track record working with multi-disciplinary teams.
• A willingness to thrive and be happy as part of a world-class UX team
