Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for assessing operational readiness as new products are launched on the Peacock platform. This role partners closely with the Peacock Operational teams, including Editorial, Content Operations and Programming, Marketing, Ad Operations, Data, and Technology. The Senior BA is tasked with outlining operational needs for supporting new features, identifying risks that could hinder a successful launch, understanding different tech systems, and working with all business units to develop mitigation strategies and plans. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Go to Market.
Overall Responsibilities
• Gather, document, and analyze current and future state workflows and system/tool architecture
• Lead and partner with business, product & developer workstreams to execute technology deliverables
• Understand business objectives and partner with teams to identify/translate requirements into detailed written requirements with functional specifications
• Translate and contextualize business objectives for the technology team
• Drive capabilities and features to ensure market readiness in close collaboration with Tech
• Run and manage stakeholder meetings across all levels of the organization and identify next steps
• Collaborate closely across departments to inform a timeline and provide background to tech teams on new features
• Mentor junior staff members to drive and improve operational excellence
• Pinpoint upstream and downstream system dependencies, risks and mitigation strategies for business workflows
• Identify gaps where changes are needed with the goal to expediate reviews and sign-off from business units
• Influence adoption of new processes, always driving towards operational efficiencies across all business units
• Transform detailed business plans and specific business requirements into a clear vision and story, decking accordingly
• Manage program level initiatives that span across multiple teams and function and drive alignment

Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in leading complex technology delivery projects, building effective plans, and executing
- Working knowledge of tech working platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet and others
- Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail and drive to follow through
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves and act as an owner in an entrepreneurial environment, without being hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities
- Unquenchable thirst to learn more and solve unique problems
- Ability to anticipate bottlenecks, proactively adjust solutions, and balance the needs of multiple departments
- Have fun and encourage collaboration and visibility within and across teams
- Experience in a content viewing or streaming product
- Must be willing to work in New York
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be 18 years or older
