Reporting to the Sr. Director, Editorial and part of the Brand Marketing Creative group, the Editorial Specialist will play a huge role in growing the Peacock voice in all written expressions of the Peacock brand. Based in NYC is preferred.

Responsibilities:
• Compose copy for newsletters, paid social posts, landing pages, and mobile push notifications
• Script host reads for Peacock/NBC talent and podcast hosts
• Help with copy for onscreen marketing elements
• Assist with writing and editing messaging across brand and device partners
• Provide copy for press kits and special events/promotions
• Proofread Peacock materials for grammar, style, and tone of voice
• Represent the Peacock copy team in cross-functional meetings
• Maintain the marketing editorial calendar
• Help traffic incoming requests for the copy team

Qualifications/Requirements
2+ years' professional copywriting/editing experience, preferably in streaming entertainment or creative agency.
Excellent proofreading skills
Familiarity with creative briefs
Ability to adapt to a specific tone of voice
Ability to work under tight deadlines and shuffle priorities quickly
Comfortable working with multiple systems and document tools
High attention to detail and organization

Desired Characteristics

Ability to own projects with minimal hand-holding
Entertainment experience a plus
Deep knowledge of our content a plus
