Join us if you would like to be a part of this exciting initiative.Senior Manager, Editorial Strategy, Peacock NBCUniversal is hiring a Senior Manager, Editorial Strategy to bring strategy and insights to the Platforms Editorial team. We are seeking an independent minded and highly competitive candidate who is adept at swiftly handling change in a constantly evolving industry.
The Platforms team will be tasked with driving performance of a variety of business metrics by curating programming across all audience segments. The successful candidate will leverage data, operational know-how and strategic editorial planning to position the right content in front of each customer each time they log in.
The successful candidate for this role will bring a well-informed perspective on how audience behaviors are evolving, an understanding of what drives video viewership, a strong aptitude for deriving and presenting data-driven insights and a wealth of experience curating editorial across content types (longform, shortform, live and on-demand), genres and audience segments. In coordination with Product, Data, Marketing and Content leadership, the Senior Manager, Editorial Strategy will ultimately play a major role in building and shaping the audience of the industry's most innovative new streaming service.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Daily tracking and analysis using such tools as Adobe/Omniture, Excel, Tableau and/or Domo to derive performance insights
• Developing plans to drive engagement across Peacock's on-demand and live experiences by determining how best to merchandise key titles in any given user cohort
• Creating decks and presentations to share key findings and trends to stakeholders in and outside the editorial organization
• Helping to support alignment between the editorial calendar and content window strategies in order to balance priorities across a growing library
• Observe and apply learnings from industry trends and competitive analysis

Qualifications/Requirements
• At least 3 years' experience in digital content, programming a large scale editorial, e-commerce or video service; MBA preferred.
• A deep understanding of analytics and hands-on experience with data tools like Omniture, mParticle, Amplitude and visualization tools like Domo and Tableau, as well as understanding of product tagging and governance.
• Demonstrable ability to manage an ever-changing content pipeline 7 days a week.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills, and the ability to convey complex data results in a simple and concise way including the ability to make visually compelling decks and dashboards for creative leaders.
• A history of establishing KPIs and targets, and then working to hit those goals.
• Ability to work at 30 Rock, New York City or Universal City, CA
