Responsibilities:
• Prepare and record accurate and timely journal entries within SAP
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end accounting close to ensure deadlines are met and all items are recorded
• Assemble monthly balance sheet account reconciliations on Blackline
• Assist in testing of key controls and KPI's
• Oversee and track from start to finish fixed asset capital projects; reconcile & prepare support for capitalization
• Provide schedules and supporting documents as needed for pacing, forecasting and budgeting as well as other regulatory and compliance purposes or executive reporting
• Processing of invoices in SNAP, including ensuring that the payments are being made as agreed upon per contracts/payment schedules
• Support business process by partnering with other departments, including but not limited to FP&A, Finance, Accounts payable, treasury, tax, human resources, IT, and legal
• Support ad hoc data requests, deliverables and other controllership deadlines
• Continually improve business processes through automation, thoughtful analysis and researching or benchmarking best practices inside and outside of the company
• Assist process owners in documentation of SOX controls
• Review corporate card transactions on a monthly basis to ensure adherence with Company policy
• Vendor setup and vendor management to ensure vendors are setup and paid on a timely basis

Qualifications/Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
• 2+ years of accounting experience in public accounting audit experience, or in-house experience; CPA or on track
• Proven ability to work independently, execute well, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented and a quick learner
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to think critically and research ad hoc accounting issues
• Problem solving skills, ability to dig in to problems and drive resolutions
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient Microsoft Excel skills
• Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
