Manager, Social Strategy, Peacock

The Peacock marketing team is looking to build a best-in-class social team for its new streaming platform. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Social Strategy and part of the Brand Marketing group, the Strategist will help drive the launch and growth of owned social for the new streaming service.
• Help to develop and grow a platform-specific best practices playbook, learning from our progress and also from other brands at NBC
• Help set overarching social media KPIs and campaign-specific KPIs
• Ideate social media strategy for Peacock originals, NBCU library shows, acquired shows, movies and topical content
• Manage day to day with social media agency responsible for Peacock Original strategy execution and asset development
• Oversee strategy and management of Peacock spoke channels like A.P. Bio, Psych, Friday Night Lights and Downton Abbey
• Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally with essential lines of business on 360-marketing initiatives to bring Peacock Originals to life, helping reach goals through social media strategies
• Analyze social data in real time using analytics tools to drive actionable insights and inform future social strategies
• Collaborate closely with rest of the brand marketing team, custom content team and the paid social team
• Ensure all social media campaigns ladder up to our overall strategy for the brand and overall social KPIs
• Procure raw assets, making sure we've properly vetted with legal, brand and PR teams

Qualifications/Requirements
• 3+ years experience working on social strategy for multichannel owned social, agency experience a plus
• The platform's everchanging algorithm is your second language and you know the most up-to-date best practices before a blog article can even be published
• Experience in social strategy development and a record of delivering quantifiable results through the creation, implementation, and day-to-day management of multi-platform marketing campaigns
• Have a keen understanding in paid social
• Strong analytical skills
• Exhibit careful attention to detail
• Must be a proactive self-starter with an innate entrepreneurial spirit
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines – exhibits calm under pressure

• Eat, sleep and breathe social media strategy, scouring social platforms for the most innovative brand and influencer content in your spare time
• Publishing and community management experience a plus
