Manager, Brand Marketing – Film, Peacock

Peacock is seeking an innovative marketer to join the team and help expand brand marketing for Feature Films on Peacock. This marketer will report to and support the Director, Brand Marketing – Film, in the creation and execution of best-in-class marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:
• Support development of cross-company marketing plans for movies on Peacock - including any Day/Date releasees, our expansion into 'Pay 1' film offering and growth of our licensed film collection.
• Collaborate across Peacock Marketing Teams and our film partners, including Universal Film Entertainment Group and Focus Features, to ensure clear, cohesive and compelling campaigns across product lifecycle.
• Assist in campaign development, briefing of internal teams (i.e., Media, Performance, CRM, Social, Editorial, etc.) and monitoring campaign performance for insights and future optimizations.
• Help identify and prioritize films that over-index in attracting high-value users and then work with functional leads to proactively migrate them from these tentpole offerings (i.e., day/date release) into engaging other relevant content on the platform to reduce likelihood of 'one-and-done' acquisitions.
• Expand/update 'movie rubric' to better prioritize support for upcoming film releases.
• Draft 'After-Action Reports' that summarize efforts, calling out campaign effectiveness, insights and future enhancements (i.e., what did we do, what did we learn and what should we do moving forward).
• Monitor acquisition and engagement rate from film (First View, # of titles and total consumption) and propose tactics to improve outcomes.
• Provide operational support between Peacock and film partners, including setup/facilitation of recurring meetings.
• Coordinate with editorial, product, on-platform promo and partner marketing teams to amplify film offering on Peacock.
• Monitor competitive film landscape and shifting consumer awareness/expectation for film offering across streaming services.
• Facilitate data sharing between Peacock and film partners

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience, in Film/Entertainment, Direct-to-Consumer and/or Digital Media
- Previous experience working in film or streaming service preferred (ideally 2+ years)
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of various streaming business models (AVOD, SVOD, TVOD) and extensive knowledge of the Direct-to-Consumer and/or streaming services space
• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work flexibly across departments as well as manage internal and external partners in a dynamic environment
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Willingness to work overtime, work weekday nights, and on weekends with short notice

Desired Characteristics
• Extensive knowledge and passion for Movies and a high affinity for entertainment overall.
• Demonstrated direct-to-consumer marketing experience with a digital product.
• Strong project management skills and understanding of how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment.
• Analytical/strategic thinker and creative problem-solver; resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity.
• Highly innovative and creative with positive energy.
