The Sports Digital Production Manager will be responsible for executing the sport and event production roadmap within several of NBCUniversal's direct-to-consumer digital properties, including NBC Sports, NBC Olympics, and Golf Channel. You will passionately pursue new features and procedures that foster exceptional sports coverage while enhancing the user experience across our streaming products. The ideal candidate understands that even the most minor details are important. The Sports Digital Production Manager role is highly cross-functional and requires the consummate team player to be successful.

Responsibilities
• Lead the execution of the sports production roadmap with a cross-functional team
• Manage seasonal changes to sport and event coverage platforms
• Create copy and metadata ahead of critical launches, seasons, kickoffs, and events
• Source imagery and logos ahead of key launches, seasons, kickoffs, and events
• Collaborate with the Editorial team and Streaming Ops on daily production needs and updates
• Offer production assistance on app alerts, and align with product managers on any updates to tagging categories or other alerts features
• Iterate on current products by driving testing and experimentation of concepts
• Partner with Design/UX, Product, Engineering, PMO, Editorial/Operations, and Sales teams on ways to improve products
• Be a strong and vocal voice of the consumer
• Keep on top of industry trends, technologies, and techniques

Qualifications/Requirements
• Proven Product Management experience
• Working Knowledge of connected, mobile application and web streaming technology
• Experience working on seasonal or event-based executions on customer-facing products
• General knowledge of on-demand and live video streaming platforms
• General knowledge of sports
• Experience working on live event coverage platforms
• Proven editorial experience
• Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multi-functional teams
• Basic knowledge of agile software development, including integrating customer feedback into requirements, driving prioritization and execution
