Our curriculum-based video and game content is used by over 12 million children each month across mobile apps, TV, and pbskids.org. In the past year these PBS KIDS destinations have won multiple awards, including 2 Webby's, 5 Kidscreen awards, and 6 Parent's Choice Awards.

We are passionate about providing all children with safe high-quality media experiences that educate and inspire. We are looking for a product manager with technical acumen to spearhead the development and day-to-day operation of the PBS KIDS CMS that powers experiences across mobile, web and over-the-top platforms.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the product lifecycle for the PBS KIDS CMS

• Work with stakeholders, including content managers, product managers, engineers and content producers to gather requirements and develop roadmaps

• Lead the cross-functional team of engineers and designers developing and maintaining the CMS

• Lead feature intake, prioritization and other related processes

• Define metrics and success measures to track performanc

• Communicate performance to stakeholders in a clear manner that informs priorities

Requirements:
• Two or more years experience in technical product management of content management systems, or other similar technical systems

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Educational Technology, Interaction Design, or equivalent work experience

• Experience with large, customizable content management system platforms such as Craft, Django and Drupal

• Strong technical acumen and a proven ability to understand and explain complex systems

• Experience creating content models, content hierarchies, and entity relationship diagrams

• Understanding of managing APIs for multiple consumer products

• Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.
