The Project Manager executes the project management function within the Technology & Operations (T&O) team and oversees the delivery of large, complex technology programs. The Project Manager is responsible for participating in the function's planning, schedule management, financial management, and governance.
Our projects are typically large-scale efforts comprised of parallel projects that cover software development, IT infrastructure systems installation, business process engineering, and the organization's functional capabilities. These projects cross functional and business lines within the company.

Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Project Execution and Governance
• Create and own project deliverables, schedules, budget, deadlines, and resource allocation

• Hold stakeholders accountable; conduct team meetings to provide status updates and identify and resolve issues even if that means challenging senior stakeholders on critical success factors

• Requires an understanding of the Product Manager requirements to identify any gaps in plans or blockers to execution

• Adapt plans based on evolving needs, conditions or issues that may arise

• Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery aligned with the stated project goals

Project Prioritization and Portfolio Alignment
• Manage multiple concurrent projects, each with varying priority, timelines, and resource requirements

• Balance projects and communicate priorities internally

• Create a project dashboard prioritizing current projects and communicate early and often to steer any at risk milestones

• Inform project teams and senior leaders where resources are currently being placed and adjust workflows accordingly

• Ensure third party resource efforts are seamlessly integrated into the project plans

• Manage appropriate information to be shared with external clients and/or partners

Project Documentation and Archives
• Partner with various teams to ensure documentation, supporting materials and project plans are updated and readily available for internal teams, senior leaders as well as external partners/stakeholders

• Validate and document completed project information for reference on future projects and to assess the project delivery, completeness, and alignment with stated objectives and goals

• Facilitate all retrospective reviews of projects completed, particularly when projects didn't go according to schedule

Requirement for success:
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified

• 1 to 3 years' experience in a Project Manager role; an equivalent combination of experience may be considered

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as business or technology

• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Methodologies

• Experience working in a scrum environment desired, but not required.

• Proven ability to perform business analysis work (e.g., risk analysis, business requirements, acceptance criteria)

• Proven skills managing projects in a non-structured environment, work experience at a start-up or small team within a larger company is highly preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Strong foundation in project and change management

• Outstanding organization skills and attention to details

• Proven leadership skills, adept facing off to all management levels across Engineering, Sales, Product Management, internally and external client-facing

• Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on critical and high priority projects

• Highly proficient with project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Lucid Chart, JIRA, and Confluence) and reporting applications
