Overview & Responsibilities
Paramount Tech is hiring an Information Security Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting the team on third party risk management and vendor security incident response.
Role Details:
• Perform Third-party Risk assessments in accordance with the most widely accepted security standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, Shared Assessments etc.), and the Paramount Information Security policies and standards.
• Document risk analysis, mitigation, and remediation plans.
• Discuss mitigation and remediation plans with Third party's representatives.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders in relation to Third-party risk assessments.
• Support the Senior Analyst in risk assessment calls / meetings, risk analysis and internal meetings with Paramount key stakeholders.
• Support the Sr. Analyst and the risk management team of the team throughout a variety of tasks related to the full risk management spectrum.
• Monitor security blogs, articles, and reports and remain current on related laws, regulations, and industry standards to keep up to date on the latest security risks, threats, and technology trends and incorporate information into processes, procedures, and audit preparedness activities.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of work experience of which at least 1 year of work experience in Information Security.
• Strong internships will be considered.
• Significant understanding of the widely accepted security standards (e.g., ISO 27002, NIST, Shared Assessments etc.)
• A demonstrable passion for the field of information security
• Advanced English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Able to successfully prioritize and manage to completion multiple complex tasks and deliverables, and demonstrate the highest degree of integrity and accountability in all actions
• Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One or more of CISSP, GSEC, CISM, CRISC certifications strongly preferred but equivalent knowledge will be considered
• Experience performing risk assessments of cloud/vendor hosted solutions
• Experience with ProcessUnity or other industry recognized vendor risk assessment solutions
• 1+ years of work experience performing risk assessments
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 100,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
