Streaming Insights Researcher - 6 Month FTC

Paramount Global Streaming Research and Insights is responsible for developing a deep understanding of Paramount streaming audiences around the world, then disseminating those findings within the company. Through research and insights initiatives within and across key markets, we support Paramount's international streaming teams as well as each of the local streaming teams embedded within individual markets. We also collaborate with consumer insights teams in the US to coordinate approaches globally and deliver global results, chipping in to Paramount's vast audience expertise.

The Paramount Global Streaming Research and Insights team is seeking an enthusiastic Manager, Global Streaming Research and Insights to support with the management, analysis and reporting of international consumer insights projects and initiatives on behalf of Paramount's streaming brands, Paramount+ and Pluto TV.

In particular, the Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day management, reporting and ongoing evolution of Paramount's Streaming Tracker, which explores perceptions of Paramount and competitor brands across key markets globally, and will carry out detailed country-level analysis to inform local Streaming teams' brand and marketing strategies and address issues relevant to specific local markets.

The position requires excellent analytical skills and superior attention to detail as well as the ability to see patterns and connect insights among consumers. They must have experience managing primary consumer insights projects and experience internationally is preferred.

What will you be doing?
• Work closely with Vice President and the wider team to design, field, coordinate, analyse and disseminate quantitative and qualitative research projects including surveys, online research, focus groups, or other forms of analyses. Subjects will primarily focus on streaming, but may also extend to other topics related to media and technology as well as general audience insight areas
• Lead the day-to-day management, analysis and reporting of Paramount's international Streaming Tracker, which monitors awareness, brand performance and perceptions of Paramount and competitor streaming brands in key markets
• Carry out detailed market-specific analysis usingStreaming Tracker data to inform local strategic and tactical business decisions
• Champion the use of insights from the Streaming Tracker across the streaming business and collaborate with the wider insights team to extract maximum value from the findings
• Conduct delegated primary and secondary research projects in-house or through external vendors; engage, direct and supervise vendors where relevant; infuse Paramount perspective into projects; ensure outcomes are insightful and deliver on business needs, and champion the wide communication of results throughout the organisation
• Work closely with wider research and insights teams to leverage developments, systems and processes where possible as well as roll out information/projects

• Naturally curious, collaborative and passionate about consumer behaviour and the media industry
• Must work well under pressure and be able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with syndicated reporting databases and tools or any crosstab product such as SPSS
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Able to write concisely and compellingly
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Must be fluent in MS Office; possess expertise with PowerPoint, Excel
• The ability to be respectful with a high level of cultural sensitivity
