Sr React Native Engineer

Job Description

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and leading the development of user-friendly applications for Paramount+ that run on all of Amazon's devices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the project's success and ensure that the applications are of the highest quality and meet user needs. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, troubleshoot issues, and work to continuously improve the project.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop advanced mobile applications using React Native for Paramount+
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while enforcing best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to the application.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to optimize the user experience and overall application performance.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field or equivalent years' experience.
• At least 5-7 years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
• Strong expertise in React Native, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• In-depth knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, REST APIs, and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $125,000.00 - 160,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
