Sr. Product Analyst, Ad Platforms (Hybrid)

Overview & Responsibilites

We here at Paramount are on the lookout for a new Sr. Product Analyst, Ad Platforms for Ad Technology! The ideal candidate will have interests and experience in product, analytics, and will be using insights to help innovate in our Advertising and Monetization product areas! This role is responsible for providing quantitative support, strategic perspective, and in-depth analysis in support of advertising platform development and operations. As a key member of the Ad Platform team, you will conduct data analysis of complex data sets to proactively deliver concrete insights for our platform and company strategy. You will find opportunities and ongoing needs to inform new dashboards, alerts, and other data products geared at optimizing revenue in a high-scaled video advertising business.

Basic Qualifications
• A minimum of 3 years of post-collegiate experience in a data intensive role, ideally within an advertising, or digital product context, with a deep portfolio of data analytics projects across a range of subject areas.
• Education: BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to clearly synthesize large datasets into key insights.

Additional Qualifications
• Proficiency with SQL; sufficient to write and read complex queries combining many data sets.
• Experience using scripting languages and open-source libraries for data analysis and visualization, i.e., Python, Pandas, SciKitLearn, Plotly, etc.
• Familiarity with A/B and multivariate test and analytics design.
• Experience with Business Intelligence and data visualization frameworks such as Tableau, Looker, and Data Studio.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, being able to form positive relationships across our organization.
• Proven organization and effective planning skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
