Job Description
Overview & Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Paramount Global Kids & Family Content Insights Team, the Senior Manager of Content Insights will be responsible for Nickelodeon and Awesomeness content research across Live Action Scripted, Unscripted, and Animation (including development, acquisitions, pilot testing and current series maintenance) in support of linear, streaming (our own and our partners) and digital platforms (i.e., YouTube). The Senior Manager, Content Insights, will lead qualitative and quantitative research projects and collaborate on high-profile projects, while providing clear and concrete insights to key internal clients; this includes presenting insights to external groups such as content creators, SVOD and key CP partners.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:
• Manage and oversee qualitative and quantitative research projects from start to finish, including research design, vendor selection and management, survey writing as needed, fieldwork, data analysis, report writing, and presentation of concrete insights
• Manage project timelines for assigned projects, while coordinating with VP and Sr. Director to ensure projects meet internal achievements and/or inform greenlight
• Collaborate day-to-day with internal creative teams to understand wants and needs for research, formulate research objectives, and generate custom research methodologies
• Partner closely with research vendors to coordinate testing criteria, screener creation, recruitment, and ultimately report writing and dissemination of findings
• Moderate focus groups with both kids and parents to gauge reactions to content concepts, animatics, short-form and long-form content, and marketing materials
• Create debrief decks, final reports, and presentations to share out toplines and research findings with key partners, including creative teams and Sr. Management, in a timely manner
• Stay on top of content trends to find opportunities for Nickelodeon & Awesomeness
• Partner with cross-functional teams to manage and assist with pivotal initiatives and additional research projects including international research requests
• Work closely with the Senior Director, Consumer Insights to develop ideas and leverage consumer insights that help inform internal initiatives

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in communications, business, media, market research, or child development/psychology, graduate research work a plus
• 6+ years of experience in consumer and market research, preferably at a media/entertainment company, kid-targeted industry or market research vendor
• Management experience required
• Experience in a kids oriented environment
• Experience moderating focus groups with kids
• Experience with mTAB or SPSS
• Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience fielding and analyzing international research a plus
• Able to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and presentation design skills, with the ability to explain research results in a clear and compelling manner
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills!
