Overview and Responsibilities
Paramount Tech is hiring a Software Asset Manager.
This position is responsible for assisting in the development of SAM processes and the ongoing management of software within Paramount. This includes assisting in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide software asset management program, policies, and procedures to minimize compliance risk, improve the program, and build process efficiencies. Planning, monitoring, and recording software assets to ensure compliance with vendor contracts, and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will possess at minimum, an intermediate to advanced working knowledge of software asset discovery, software licensing, reconciliation practices and allocation procedures. They should have previous experience with SAM tools, license analysis, discovery and software procurement.
Basic Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in Software Asset Management
• Hands on experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional
• Knowledgeable in the software asset and contract lifecycle
Additional Qualifications
• Ability to work and be proactive with minimal direction and handle various projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of software publishers' buying programs, licensing models, software deployment and use rights (e.g., Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, VMware, IBM, etc.)
• Experience entering information and generating reports from ServiceNow
• Ability to read and interpret software entitlement documents
• Strong knowledge of software license contracts structures and terms
• Solid understanding of compute environments including servers, desktop, and cloud environments
• Ability to analyze data, summarize information, and clearly communicate findings
• Ability to express ideas and concepts clearly and professionally

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $80,000.00 - 90,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
