Overview and Responsibilities:

Paramount Global Sourcing is looking for a Senior Manager to join the team! This person will support the Construction and Facilities indirect spend category. They will be responsible for the development and execution of sourcing
of capital improvement projects – (construction, renovation, remodeling, refurbishment, upgrading) and facilities services (cleaning, maintenance, etc.) , for Studios, and Corporate Offices within Paramount Global's comprehensive portfolio of operating locations.

The Senior Manager will coordinate multiple tasks including contract negotiation, leading of competitive bidding processes and supplier management in support of enterprise-wide needs. They will also handle the analysis of the Facilities and Construction spend cube, and the development of spend reduction and compliance strategies. Spend categories include Construction,Facilities Services and MRO Supplies as well as other categories.

Anticipated business results include cost savings and working capital improvement through RFx process and direct negotiation. This person will develop strategic sourcing plans and activity roadmaps to drive continued savings across three-year horizon. Key initiatives include various Studio Services capital projects on the Paramount Pictures historic lot, and the consolidation of facilities services across Paramount Global.

Responsibilities:
• Leverage spend data, and all other tools/resources available to identify actionable cost- saving opportunities within the assigned spend categories.
• Develop efficient Sourcing strategies for high-impact on key spend categories
• Level and analyze competitive bidding proposals to support recommendations for executive-level stakeholder decision-making.
• Recommend new sourcing strategies, process improvements and supplier relationship protocols for the enterprise.
• Partner & cultivate strong supplier relationships and partnerships that deliver cost reduction, supply assurance, quality improvement and innovation.
• Lead negotiations and manage relationships with suppliers in collaboration with key partners.
• Partner with Legal Team in development of sound legal contracts that translate supplier offerings, RFP outcomes, and negotiation results into new agreements, amendments, renewals, or terminations to ensure protection and advancement of Paramount Global's interests.
• Promote ongoing quality improvement, including evaluation of supplier performance, hosting ongoing reviews with internal partners, and staying abreast of market trends, supplier intelligence and other related information.
• Leverage industry & market intelligence sources to inform on market position, frame negotiation planning, build competitive landscapes, and deliver risk guidance.
• FurtherParamount's diversity and sustainability commitments through consideration of these areas during supplier selection and negotiation, as well as in ongoing supplier relationships.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; Facilities & Construction sourcing, business or operations background preferred; MBA a plus
• 4+ years of experience leading multiple major spend categories or budgets in a large scale environment
• 8+ years of total work experience

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong research, analytical, business process, communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment in interacting with internal customers and external suppliers.
• Superior knowledge of the entire sourcing process within large, six to seven-figure budgets and spend management systems.
• Skilled with technology-based systems including spend analytics and eProcurement tools.
• Track record of supporting the evolution of business processes, and/or continuous improvement of strategic sourcing and category management programs.
• Exemplary collaboration skills with the ability to communicate vision and gain alignment with senior management both internally and externally.
• Ability to influence and drive measurable change to purchasing behavior across the varying business units.
• Strong analytical capabilities, with an emphasis on data quality and integrity, to support sound and objective decision-making.
• Ability to negotiate and carry out complex construction contracts including short and long term facilities consulting engagements.
• Excellent organization, prioritization, project management, problem-solving, financial modeling and presentation skills.
• High proficiency or mastery of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong eye for business, eagerness to learn, personable demeanor, and demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues, and across all levels of management.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $110,400.00 - 138,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
