OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Manager, Nickelodeon Marketing Finance, will be responsible for the day-to-day planning and forecasting of all Marketing and Communication expenses. The role will manage the detailed process of building and maintaining the Nick Marketing expense for the annual budget, long range plans, monthly forecasts, and updates to quarterly outlooks. The role will manage the detailed tracking of actual expenses against budgets/forecasts and communicate any risks or opportunities against planned operating budgets. The Senior Manager role will regularly provide both high level & detailed causes of change to leadership. These responsibilities will be carried across three newly created segments: Filmed Entertainment, Streaming, TV Media. Total Marketing and Communication expense across segments is ~$150M annually.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide support on monthly and quarterly closes for each business team.
- Meet with business teams including senior level executives to review monthly close and forecast.
- Review, prepare and submit journal entries to the Controller's group as needed each month.
- Load monthly forecasts for each business team at the project level.
- Review, load & analyze HQ expenses related to business teams, while providing support as needed.
- Analyze monthly forecast and report cause of change versus prior forecast, budget and prior year to various customers (e.g. segment specific finance teams, Content Center of Excellence)
- Update and distribute forecast expense files to business teams monthly.
- Assist in forecasting the Long-Range Plan in collaboration with business teams, Finance colleagues and guidance from Corporate FP&A.
- Field requests from business teams for new project codes and questions about vendor payments or set-up status.
- Assist with ad hoc Nickelodeon and internal management requests.
- Strive to identify ways to improve current processes, communication flow and documentation.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Minimum 7-8 years relevant work experience, preferably in Media

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Teammate with the ability to work and communicate with people at different levels within the organization
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to be thorough with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills (oral, written & listening)
- Experience in Longview and/or SAP a strong plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to changing industry and organizational landscape
- Proactive and visible work style, takes ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks
- Excellent time, project management, and execution skills

Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 130,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
