Department: Consumer Products & Events
Reporting to: Director, Licensing, Southeast Asia & India
Based in: Singapore
As part of the Licensing team, you will be working with agents and direct markets in Southeast Asia & India to drive consumer products licensing business for Paramount IPs like Paw Patrol, SpongeBob, Dora etc & exciting young adults IP like Garfield, Emily in Paris & The Mission Impossible movies etc. This job includes collaborating internally with all relevant LOB's & with agents in developing and implementing licensing strategies, negotiating, drafting licensing agreements, and managing the licensing process.
Responsibilities
• Identify, develop licensing & promotions opportunities with agents and / or direct markets to align with the regional consumer products strategy.
• Be a lead for Agent Management by ensuring timely response to agents' day-to-day concerns and inquiries, close monitoring of business performance parameters like forecasts, royalties & maintenance of Salesforce deal memos.
• Facilitate negotiations with global teams, finalize agreements, and assist in dispute resolution.
• Collaboration with marketing & other LOBs to help execute marketing programs & events. Assist with team presentations and communication with external parties.
• Operate independently all error-free mechanisms for quotations, orders, raising purchase orders, payment, account opening as well as shipping, couriers and dispatching documents and boxed items and coordinating with Finance on payments.
• Stay up to date on the latest licensing trends & developments
• Any other responsibilities that may be required from time to time as required.
Qualifications
• Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent with 5 years of experience in consumer products, character licensing, media, or client servicing. Working experience in regional teams is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
• Business proficiency in both Chinese and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Adaptable, flexible, and able to change gears quickly and nimbly in a fast-paced global environment
• Highly organized, meticulous, and a collaborative self-starter with the ability to work under pressure, set priorities, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
• Possesses a positive attitude, is solutions focused and has an upbeat approach to work
