Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated, proactive, and experienced senior director-level resource to join the Paramount Residuals team. This position is a key member in our residuals department and will interact with various departments such as Labor, Production Finance, and Business Affairs to facilitate various residual payments, claims, and projects across our TV media segment.

Responsibilities include:
• Oversight of general day-to-day operations of the department in support of the VP, Residuals
• Plan, forecast, and initiate monthly and quarterly payments
• Track production status to determine setup priorities
• Review talent set ups and other work performed by managers
• Tracking of developed KPI metrics of department and EP performance to ensure timely setups, processing, and payments
• Communicate with production staff as needed for document requirement delivery and clarification
• Assist VP with review of IATSE and SAG Prorations for completeness and accuracy
• Coordinate with Residuals team members to provide internal, external, SOX, and guild audit support as needed
• Work directly with auditors and guild reps on claims and audit reports, escalating to VP as needed
• Create tools and processes, improve existing methodologies for departmental efficiencies
• Provide cost estimates across various TV media distribution markets
• Support VP with validation and proofing of various payments
• Serve as a supporting role to VP with general Basic Agreement interpretation perspective
• Assist in developing training program and materials to help align the staff with strategic goals of VP
• Participate in and/or oversee testing and implementation of various system enhancements and as part of larger ERP and Residuals system projects

Basic Qualifications
• 10+ years of combined related industry and residuals experience required
• Ability to interpret and apply talent contracts and/or collective bargaining agreements

Additional Qualifications
• Self-starter, proactive, and analytical
• Possess critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Able to multitask and ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting, Finance a plus but not required

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 170,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
