Under the mentorship of the VP of Analytics, this role is responsible for improving decision-making across the studio within the Theatrical Marketing department – via data exploration, analysis, and visualization! More specifically, these responsibilities include:
• Performing complex analyses to inform strategic prioritization, optimization, and findings for marketing campaigns and tactics – both paid and earned
• Supporting the setup of marketing and media experimentation initiatives in collaboration with key partners from across the department
• Monitoring, as needed, real-time audience reactions and key metrics across social, digital media, and various other audience feedback platforms to identify trends and uncover insights that help craft strategies and tactics
• Partnering with key stakeholders in the IT organization to assist with the capture, storage, and processing of the data itself
• Tracking and compiling industry trends, and performing competitive analyses to inform marketing and content strategies
• Crafting deliverables and communicating findings to a broad range of creative, technical, and business partners
• Crafting and creating new front-end dashboards and tools to help deliver insights to key partners in a timely fashion
• Developing positive relationships with various partners
Basic Qualifications
• Consistent track record of identifying key questions, performing quantitative analyses independently, and communicating findings in a clear and concise manner
• 5+ years in a highly analytical environment --- e.g. corporate strategy, planning and/or analysis in an entertainment/digital media/consumer products or services company, top management consulting firm, investment bank or similarly demanding environment in which modeling and strategic analysis are regularly performed and handled with senior partners
• Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to prioritize projects with varying degrees of completion and priority
• Excellence in crafting, communicating, and socializing complex ideas, recommendations, and insights with an adaptable communication approach, as necessary, to partner with broad stakeholder groups
• Deep understanding of the social media landscape --- including platforms, metrics, etc.
• Shown leadership and comfortable working in cross-functional teams
Technical
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, specifically, a plus)
• Advanced SQL
• Completed coursework, certification(s), and/or demonstrable ability to display analytical expertise
Additional Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree a plus --- preferably in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience at an entertainment studio and/or streaming platform
• Working knowledge of the MarTech/AdTech landscape
• Experience in market research, marketing attribution, user journey mapping, user experience or first-party data acquisition
• Working knowledge of various social analytics and audience analysis platforms (Talkwalker, ListenFirst, Affinio, Crimson Hexagon, NetBase, Sprinklr, etc.)
