Job summary

Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment is seeking a Brand Marketing Manager to oversee planning and execution of film catalog releases across digital platforms and physical retail channels. We are looking for someone with strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail and a passion for film. This manager will support all efforts of product development and national marketing campaigns for Paramount's film catalog, managing release strategy, budgets and product lifecycle working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities to include:
• Works with Directors in the brainstorm, development and implementation of all marketing plans, product launch strategies, and national promotions
• Analyze internal and competitive sales performance to provide strategic direction for new product development
• Develop and handle new product P&Ls. Maintains monthly budget reports for overall film portfolio. Provides strategic recommendations on the optimal release strategy (release date, competitive landscape, seasonality) and positioning (target, key communication points) for each release and promotion
• Develops and handles product life cycle guidelines, gaining consensus from management throughout the process of development
• Crafts accurate and detailed creative briefs
• Handles product and marketing campaign asset development as well as approvals trafficking
• Works with Sr. Coordinator to handle timelines for all marketing and operational activities to ensure team is on deadline
• Develops and ensures timely dissemination of marketing and sales documents to inform internal and external groups
• Works closely with digital service teams, ensuring assets and information are communicated to accounts in a timely manner
• Communicates regularly with cross-functional groups including Sales, Operations, Legal, Production, Customer Marketing, Finance, Creative, PR and Digital Marketing to ensure detailed product and promotion development
• Fully researches film library to understand portfolio and find opportunities to achieve business objectives
• Stays on top of media and promotional opportunities and tactics
• Reviews market research to anticipate and react to competition, consumer perspectives and market trends
• Evaluates and analyzes program results and presents recommendations for future improvement

Qualifications/skills

Basic qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing and/or related field
• 4+ years experience in marketing or product management

Desired skills:
• Knowledge of marketing/brand awareness building fundamentals
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Problem-solving, analytical and creative thinking skills
• Proficiency in Photoshop and/or Illustrator a plus but not required
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Powerpoint & Excel
• Experience in home entertainment, franchise management, or consumer packaged goods a plus
