Paramount Global Controllership seeks a Manager of Accounting for the CBS Studios and Entertainment Division. As the manager, you will work on a hybrid schedule in one of our fabulous locations in Hollywood! You will report to the Sr. Director of Accounting, CBS Studios & Entertainment Division. You will lead cash management in Oracle, support with other operational accounting functions and various ad hoc requests. Overview and Responsibilities
• Lead team of accounting professionals under hybrid / agile working model
• Responsible for running the cash management in Oracle to ensure cash transactions are recorded accurately, including the review of all CBS Studios cash balances
• Review and approve of all cash journal entries, inclusive of wires and receipts and review of cash to other divisions
• Responsible for requesting new bank accounts for new productions as well as assigning bank codes in Oracle
• Handle the quarterly inventory cash reclassification, for both domestic and international bank accounts
• Review production reimbursements between CBS Studios and Entertainment divisions
• Prepare balance sheet account analysis relating to cash, accounts payable and capital / operating leases
• Run and review CBS Studios fixed asset module, including review of CAPEX reporting
• Lead all aspects of the Kapital Entertainment and Hollywood Production funding requests from start to end
• Support and work closely with CBS Studios financial reporting team, CBS Production finance team, as well as CBS Studios Controller to provide periodic ad hoc requests
• Participate and assist in identifying process improvement opportunities and build efficiencies
• Lead, coach, develop and manage two staff accountants

Basic Qualifications
• 6+ years of progressive Accounting/Finance experience in media/entertainment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required

Additional Qualifications
• Studio experience highly preferred
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment, and handle multiple responsibilities under tight time frames
• Ability to communicate, build strong relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization
• Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving skills, strong attention to details, and ability to prioritize
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have a positive attitude, be flexible and be willing to learn new things and train others as needed
• Possess high level of enthusiasm and curiosity to grow your career in a dynamic and growing company
• Ability to quickly learn new software applications, databases, and reporting tools

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 - 135,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
