Overview and Responsibilities
The Paramount eDiscovery team is a multifaceted group of tech-savvy professionals responsible for all data management aspects of litigation, compliance audits, internal investigations, and regulatory requests. We are seeking a Discovery Technology Specialist role to provide technical support for all stages of eDiscovery including preservation, collection, processing and preparing ESI (electronically stored information) for data analysis.
• Software administration of legal hold, data preservation, data processing, document review platforms and cloud services
• Support routine eDiscovery tasks such as load file manipulation, native file processing, search querying, hit report creation and document production jobs
• Daily coordination with internal groups including Litigation, Compliance, Labor & Employment, Information Security, Identity & Collaboration and various IT resources to effectively identify, preserve and collect required data
• Act as project liaison between Paramount Global, outside counsel and legal service providers
• Manage and deliver regular reporting to internal counsel, in-house professionals, and outside counsel
• Support issue resolution across legal technology platforms handled by Paramount
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 2+ years' experience in a technology-based eDiscovery role
Additional Qualifications
• Experience as a legal assistant and/or a paralegal is a plus
• Familiarity with eDiscovery software such as Recommind, Relativity, Microsoft Purview strongly preferred
• Must have strong data analysis skills (Tableau, Power BI, MS Access, Excel)
• Programming experience is a plus

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $85,000.00 -100,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
