The Global Product Strategy & Operations team for Paramount+ is seeking a Director of Product & Business Operations with an area of focus on Monetization. The position drives strategic product and business objectives across the organization, acting as a bridging network between Product Development and Local Market/Cross-Market Business teams.
The position is responsible for intaking and managing all new feature requests that maximize subscriber growth. This includes user acquisition and retention promotions, alternate payment methods, distribution and billing partnerships, local compliance, and account security. Coordination includes ensuring clear requirements, business prioritization, planning, and management of cross-functional operations. The output is successfully releasing new features to Paramount+ subscribers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record in Digital Business Operations, stakeholder management, project management, and monetization, who can bring focused problem solving and strategic thinking to the team while elevating executional excellence. You are expected to proactively identify issues, call out risks, resolve conflicts, and execute multiple projects concurrently.

You will partner across the organization to promote collaboration and coordination amid contending priorities to ensure strategic and tactical goals are delivered. The candidate will work closely with Paramount+ Product teams as well as Marketing, Business Development, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Finance & Tax, and Customer Support. As necessary, there will also be interaction with external stakeholders
This role reports to the Sr. Director of Product & Business Operations for Paramount+, based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as the main point of contact coordinating business needs for Paramount+ direct-to-consumer products related to Monetization, focusing on subscriptions, payment methods, promotions, billing partners, among others
• Be a subject matter expert for all Business Operations-led processes that involve Monetization aspects
• Define and manage (new) end-to-end operational processes that focus on clear business goals that optimize efficiency and scalability as well as high quality
• Proactively identify process gaps and provide solutions to resolve them, with a special focus on new features as well as business-as-usual operations & issue management
• Provide clear, concise comms and relevant Reporting to various areas of the business, ensuring alignment and visibility
• Support intake of all cross-market and local market product requests related to Monetization, enabling Product and relevant teams to complete their due diligence
• Manage and support the assessment, prioritization, planning, and execution of Monetization projects
• Help facilitate negotiations across teams to ensure alignment between roadmap, resourcing, and regulatory terms
• Assist with global operational roadmaps
• Aim for efficient, scalable solutions, while considering in parallel the customer experience
• Exhibit strong judgment and expertise to quickly assess and offer risk-based solutions to business challenges
• Support user acceptance testing cycles and day-of-launch activities with local market Business Operations Managers for new Monetization features
• Maintain accurate and updated operational documentation for stakeholders, making sure is clear, concise, and tailored to the appropriate audience
• If necessary, lean in to support other high-priority business initiatives related Paramount+
CORE SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• 8+ years of experience in Business Operations and/or implementing scalable solutions (technology and processes) in a well-established, high-performing consumer-facing software development & Agile environment
• Experience in Streaming operations and project management within the media industry
• Deep understanding of monetization features and operations, app development and multi-platform distribution
• Areas of expertise include User Onboarding, Direct to Consumer (D2C) Subscriptions flows, Authentication & Billing integrations, Digital Payments, Marketing promotions, Finance, TAX & Compliance
• Solid experience and ability to proactively identify and handle risks and issue management, high-pressure projects, and conflict resolution
• Strong stakeholder management and team player mindset
• Agile with a focus on ongoing process improvements
• Ability to adapt to the change that is required when scaling a business and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, innovative with a sharp eye for detail
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as presentation skills
• Able to coordinate and lead complex meetings
• Thrive in a multi-cultural environment spread out across the globe
• Excellent organization and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Must be able to perform independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with Atlassian Products (JIRA, Confluence)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $157,000.00 - 195,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
