Director, FP&A Content Finance (Paramount Television International Studios)

The Director will lead the oversight of expense and cash management as it relates to programming and production across all markets for Paramount Television International Studios ''PTIS'' business units. The Director is a vital role to the success of the finance group in support of the PTIS organization. Contributing as a leader within the Content Finance COE, you will be challenged to improve existing and build new best in class processes to support the rapidly growing PTIS organization across multiple international markets.

Your primary areas of focus will be business collaborating and provision of timely and accurate financial insights and analysis. Also responsible for ensuring consistent and efficient finance workflows, processes and quality outputs are adopted and produced consistently. To include financial project management for your dedicated client groups; providing timely, insightful and actionable analysis to the PTIS Executive Team; budgeting and forecasting; risk and opportunity tracking and communication; strategy implementation; workflow management and compliance. You will report into the VP, Content Finance, with a dotted line into the VP of PTIS finance working as an integral part of the PTIS team. You will also manage 1 direct report.

Responsibilities
• Critical partner and single touchpoint to the PTIS Finance & Ops team, providing finance support and insights to guide decision making;
• As an integral part of the PTIS Finance team, you will partner with the VP and Director of PTIS Finance in support of International content analysis, decisions and other requirements;
• You own the content expense financial planning cycle (Budget, Long Range Plan, Estimates), collaborating with PTIS business partners;
• Coordinate with the Controllership team on Journal Entries postings to ensure actuals are in line with expected forecast;
• You drive global PTIS portfolio analytics –by utilizing/enhancing current systems or new technologies where necessary. You are developing meaningful content reporting analytics packages (periodic and ad hoc) for PTIS programming;
• You will support in the establishing and feeding back ROI metrics on content investments and by title profitability;
• You own the cash forecasting and reporting process, collaborating with Production Finance and Production Management teams, under the guidance of the PTIS Finance org;
• You are influencing management towards impactful and results-oriented decision-making;
• You provide programming monthly analytical package to PTIS Finance, and real-time committed vs uncommitted updates throughout the month as required to support rapid decision making;
• You build and maintain dynamic relationships with the PTIS team to maintain awareness of KPI's and other enterprise metrics;
• You exercise strong analytical skills to deliver timely, accurate, and effective analysis and reporting of financial and operational performance;
• Continuously seek opportunities for improvement;
• Act as a stand-in for any team member to cover expected and/or unexpected leave of absence;
• Manage a team of 1.

Basic Qualifications/Skills
• 10+years of finance experience;
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA or professional qualification preferred;
• Superior Microsoft Office, particularly Excel skills that include detailed and automated modeling abilities;
• Expertise in budgeting, analytical, and strategic planning a must;
• Knowledge of US GAAP or equivalent financial and accounting principles;
• Bi-lingual - Spanish & English;
• Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal and project management skills;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Highly analytical, able to synthesize data and provide insightful narratives;
• Strong project management, organizational skills, attention to detail and work ethic;
• Continuous improvement mindset with ability to motivate others;
• Proactive self-starter, phenomenal teammate and leader with ability to learn quickly, be flexible and adapt to changing industry and organizational landscape;
• Strong customer service mindset willing to go the extra mile to help stakeholders achieve their priorities;
• Track record of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a sense of humor;
• Attention to detail and ability to independently navigate complex issues; balance competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines;
• Confidence in dealing and building relationships with all levels of management;
• Excellent communicator, Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Experience with SAP, Longview and/or Tableau are a plus;
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong focus on team building and wellbeing;
• Interest in and passion for media and technology.
