Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a contributor to fill the Campaign Manager, Advertising Traffic, Paramount Advertising position on our Promo Ad Operations team supporting internal marketing across Paramount Global! This is a unique opportunity to own publisher ad operations for strategic initiatives across the Paramount Global portfolio. Take ownership of detailed online advertising campaign executions across a myriad of placements and platforms including display, mobile, and video. The ideal candidate will be focused, meticulous, accountable, and have an ownership mentality. Also having the ability to break down and communicate complex technical, and operational information to non-dedicated specialists.
This role is a remote role and will report to the Senior Manager, Advertising Traffic, Paramount Advertising!
Your Day-to-Day:
• Set up and run digital advertising campaigns; focusing on timely, accurate implementations, and campaign delivery
• Partner with multiple internal marketing and creative teams at Paramount Global to receive and traffic promos from multiple brands to focus on company priorities
• Publish video, mobile and display promos through our internal ad server across all Paramount Global products and sites
• Ensure all creative asset specifications and ad policies are met before launching new executions
• Monitor, analyze and optimize campaign performance against delivery and KPI objectives
• Proactively conduct in-depth QA through the use of debugging tools
• Troubleshoot creative issues, implement custom executions, monitor delivery issues, optimize data integration, address opportunities to reach specific audience sets, and be knowledgeable about site ad tagging logic to address ad disruptions
• Apply available strategy points around promo placement and targeting from an internal marketing perspective while using company resources to apply audience targeting, show targeting, site targeting, or other avenues to effectively place promos in front of the right audiences and track success rates accordingly
• Establish and successfully handle implementation timelines for all internal partners
• Coordinate asset hand-off with client and internal teams; while proactively sharing updates and setting expectations with all collaborators
Key Projects:
• The Campaign Manager will continuously hone project management skills throughout the creation and scheduling process of custom, integrated campaigns in partnership with various internal and external marketing teams
• Provide suggestions on novel ways to improve current Ad Operations processes and procedures to enhance team excellence.
• Join kick-off calls with marketing teams to understand advertising specifications and discuss custom or complex executions for launches
• Build first-hand knowledge of publisher-side advertising technology in order to consult with partners on standard processes
• Staying educated on key developments in the rapidly changing digital advertising ecosystem and use that knowledge to update or build new processes that support changing industry needs
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree
• 1 – 2 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns
Additional Qualifications
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, and formulas)
• Shown experience with ad-serving platforms (i.e. DFP/GAM/FreeWheel)
• Ability to handle complex problems and think critically
• Strong organizational, verbal, and analytical skills
• Recognize and prioritize concurrent projects with different timelines to increase revenue and client satisfaction
• Knowledge of Rich Media, Video Encoding, HTML5
• Knowledge of web page composition and analytics
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and Javascript
• Knowledge of Programmatic advertising
• Experience with Content Management Systems
• Experience with Salesforce (strongly preferred)
• Experience with third-party ad-serving technologies (such as DCM, Celtra, Clipcentric, etc.) (strongly preferred)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $47,000.00 - 93,000.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
