Job Description

Overview and Responsibilities:

We are hiring a Broadcast Integrator for CBS Air Control. We will require this person to enter, check and finalize broadcast network scheduling information using the IBMS scheduling system which drives the on-air automated playout of all program, commercial, promo and graphic material for the CBS Network throughout the broadcast day. This person will also enter and check the Facility Transaction Report which contains assignments that enables control of various production and operational facilities across the Broadcast Center. In addition, this role entails handling Air Control during both high-volume operations and emergency broadcast scenarios.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Experience with an on-air scheduling system such as IBMS or Wide Orbit is strongly preferred.
• Ability to compile broadcast schedule information from multiple business units to finalize air schedules in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment with rapidly changing priorities and inflexible time deadlines.

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience in broadcast operations, particularly in the realm of on-air scheduling, is preferred.
• Ability to work in the New York office full-time, with weekend availability as management determines.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $56,000.00 - 67,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
