We are looking for a hardworking and highly motivated individual with strong analytics implementation skills, technical curiosity, and critical thinking to join our Measurement Operations team! As part of the Corporate Digital and Social Analytics group, our team is a crucial part of the company's streaming success. It drives business, product, and operational decisions by providing rich data, strategic insights, and analytical products. We desire a Tracking Engineer who is passionate about data and entertainment, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The position is anchored around implementing measurement solutions on our growing portfolio of products that offer across our digital properties, as well as content on multiple access points covering properties such as: Nickelodeon, BET, MTV and Comedy Central, Vidcon and many more!
The ideal candidate should have the interest and ability to take on highly advanced measurement implementations. This requires expert-level knowledge of our analytics platform (Adobe Analytics / Omniture) and ensuring that all implementations conform to our data governance and industry standards.
• Drive multiple analytics solution design projects end-to-end and in parallel.
• Communicate and break down highly complex data problems into simple, feasible solutions.
• Have practical experience in the design and execution of test plans to perform manual and automated testing on a variety of applications on web, mobile, and OTT platforms, to ensure tracking implementations are correct and yield accurate and complete data.
• Suggest improvements in case of data quality issues and work to implement fixes.
• Develop documentation of use cases, tracking specs, and QA results.
• Partner with multiple collaborators to develop and implement appropriate measurement and tagging plans for Adobe Analytics, Comscore, Nielsen, etc. to satisfy analytics use cases.
• Provide thought leadership for data collection and ways to standardize across a global environment and assist in establishing governance standard methodologies.
• Act as a liaison between business owners and application development teams.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of work experience in analytics implementation or consulting.
• Expert level user of digital Analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics preferred or Google Analytics.
• Experience developing solutions with tag management systems (Tealium, Adobe Launch), as well as functional knowledge of development in JavaScript and/or native mobile apps, front-end debugging, APIs, and Automation instrumentation (e.g. Puppeteer, Selenium).
• Direct involvement with developing and implementing measurement plans and tagging strategies, as well as the ability to QA analytics implementations.
Additional Qualifications
• Hands-on experience using automation tools (e.g., BrowserStack, etc.).
• Knowledge of release and regression testing methodologies.
• Ability to define standard methodologies for testing tools
• Knowledge of how analytics data is extracted and used within reporting tools.
• Expertise in mobile app, video measurement implementations and Adobe Analytics processing rules proficiency.
• Agile experience, and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience with QA in mobile applications and/or OTT platforms
• Testing experience with mobile applications and OTT platforms using debugging tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences, as well as translating business requirements into technical specs for developers
• Entrepreneurial, digitally savvy, creative, and experimental in the approach to problem-solving, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Solid client management skills – experience agency side and/or supporting large, diverse internal client groups.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 115,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
