Overview & Responsibilities

The Data & Marketing organization plays a central role in the Paramount Streaming Group; it is responsible for the Consumer & Growth Marketing, Data & Insights and Business Operations for Paramount and Pluto TV, at the cornerstone of growth across the paid and free pay streaming markets.

The Central Project Management Office (PMO) serves as the throughline for Data Operations, supporting the organization's diverse functions and touch points into Paramount+ and Pluto TV. We are at the cross-section of several functions, including (but not limited to) Consumer & Creative Marketing, Marketing Production, Content Strategy, Data & Insights group, Content, Business and Ad Operations, Podcasts, Marketing Acquisitions & Campaign Services, Audience Strategy & Search and more.

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage BI-focused complex projects from inception to completion for Paramount Global Data and Insights group. This role will also facilitate and monitor operational requests. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with broad cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Data Engineering, Consumer Products, Ad Ops, Marketing, Video Technology, and the leadership team.

Responsibilities
• Lead the complete development lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects
• Facilitate the gathering and documentation of requirements, translating into project plans with specific deliverables and outcomes, and work with team leads to assign individual responsibilities
• Facilitate and support execution of project plans and deliverables, and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
• Minimize exposure on projects by clearly communicating potential risks at every stage
• Create and ensure completion of project documents that remain current and organized
• Take ownership of project scope, risks, and issues, driving them to resolution in a timely fashion
• Integrate with the business while driving inter-BU/Site projects with teammates across the organization
• Manage Jira queue, shepherding team resources and effectively prioritizing
• Build relationships with partners across the DIG team and external organizations
• Apply in practice, agile and lean delivery frameworks, tools, and techniques

Basic Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Business, Communications, Engineering, or related field required or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in technology project management with a solid understanding of Agile & Waterfall methodologies
• Must have experience supporting BI and Data teams and have working knowledge of corresponding technologies
• Experience in leading and participating in roadmap and quarterly planning
• Expertise in driving projects from inception to launch, including resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and rollout
• Experience working in media entertainment and managing projects across cross functional teams supporting stakeholder and internal roadmap
• Proficiency in working with task management solutions (Jira, Confluence, Asana, @Task, ServiceNow)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, creative, deadline enthusiastic, relentless about effective communication and delivering quality results
• The candidate must hold themselves accountable for the success of the project, drive prioritization, and manage change control effectively based on shifting priorities or urgent deadlines with optimal solutions
• Passion for and knowledge of interactive technology and platforms

• PMP, PMI-ACP or Certified ScrumMaster certification

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $85,600.00 - 115,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
