Division Overview:

We are the Streaming & Video Operations team, responsible for supporting the video delivery and architecture of VOD and Live content streamed on over 15 platforms for CBS Digital & Paramount+ applications and sites. We are also responsible for the encoding and delivery of premium content to millions of users every day!

Role Details:
Our team is seeking an On-Air Scheduling Specialist to be responsible for maintaining the on-air play-out schedules for Paramount+'s 20+ linear streaming channels.

This position ensures the proper scheduling of all channels and acts as the direct point of contact/escalation for the scheduling operation team.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Build schedules and program formats for linear streaming channels using Paramount+'s scheduling systems
• Serve as a liaison between program strategy and video operations teams
• Assist with troubleshooting as needed
• Provides off-hours and weekend support on behalf of the on-air scheduling team
• Serves as a subject matter expert and point of escalation for all scheduling concerns
• Performs new hire training and executes cross-training to existing team members
• Develops and documents workflows and departmental SOPs
• Designs, develops, and maintains an up-to-date training curriculum for the on-air scheduling team
• Willingness and open availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the 24/7 operational needs

Basic / Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience working with broadcast traffic systems or an on-air scheduling system
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a 24/7 broadcast operation
• Strong computer skills required, especially with using Google Workspace & Microsoft Office products

Additional Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills as well as written and verbal communications
• Experience working with video CMS and program guides
• Proven effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple groups/levels in an organization
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, team-oriented environment & manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a results-oriented environment
• Ability to learn new software programs and to adapt in a constantly changing environment
