Scope of Job: Are you interested in new media, social activities and television? Paramount+ is developing the next generation of multimedia and cross-platform entertainment. The team values software which exemplifies simplicity of design, maintainability, and foundational robustness. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you engage in critical thinking ensure quality throughout the web, mobile, and API automation systems. You will work with developers, product managers, QA partners, and operations counterparts to ensure work is timely delivered. This role requires facilitating and running automation processes including code quality and making overarching technical decisions, as well as guiding the QA Engineers already working in the automation team.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain the existing web and mobile automation test cases
• Develop automation code across a variety of web and mobile platforms
• As part of the sprint team, automate test cases and make sure they are delivered within timelines
• Work closely with the rest of the QA team to ensure the most valuable automation coverage
• Oversee Associate QA Engineers to ensure code pushed into the repository is high quality and reviewed
• Maintain and adjust the automation roadmap to complement the feature roadmap
• Analyze and adjust automation architecture to make it scalable as more features are added, across several different platforms
• Work with various engineering teams to integrate QA systems with all available build systems

Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience in advanced Java, Appium, Selenium, and API automation
• 2+ years of mobile automation experience using Java and Appium
• Coaching, training, and mentoring QA engineers and ensuring that quality standards are met across the entire team
• Experience using Jenkins and/or similar CI/CD tools
• Ability to write/implement test cases/suites for multi-platform application software
• Experience with Postman, Charles Proxy, and/or Rest Assured
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with both a technical and non-technical audience
• Work to continuously improve testing efficiency – including regression testing
• Defect testing experience across multiple platforms
• Experience developing automation for appleTV, androidTV or Roku
• Knowledge of video technologies
• Strong understanding of Agile test tools and methodologies
• BA/BS in computer science or any related field, or equivalent work experience

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $100,000.00 - 130,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
