Role Details:

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to join the CMS team powering the Paramount+ streaming platform and more. The Engineering Manager is responsible for leading a team of software engineers and driving the technical direction of our CMS. With a focus on delivering high-quality and scalable software systems, combined with your ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams, will be critical to ensuring that our CMS meets the needs of our customers. Champion a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore new technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide a team of software engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and other multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable CMS features!
• Drive the design and implementation of complex software systems, ensuring that they are architected for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Lead and communicate project timelines and resources, ensuring that the team can deliver on its commitments.

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years serving as a team lead of engineers.
• 5+ years of Object Oriented programming experience(Java preferred), Linux environment.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring/Spring Boot

Additional Qualifications:
• Experience with PHP/Drupal
• Experience with CI/CD and testing standard methodologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of engineers.
• MS degree in Computer Science or similar discipline
• Strong technical background in content management systems, including experience with CMS architecture, design, and implementation

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 200,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
