What is the role

The Social Media team is responsible for Paramount+ in the U.K., covering a broad range of disciplines, including content creation and localisation, social platform strategy, community management, as well as social analytics and insights. The team will create and execute innovative and effective social campaigns and social first content that drive core KPIs of awareness and intent amongst new audiences, and retention among existing subscribers. In close partnership with the U.K. Creative team, the Social Media team will localise global assets as well as develop and deliver best in class locally originated social content. The Social Creative is core to the social team and will play a crucial role in helping us maximise the impact and quality of our social content across a variety of platforms.

You will be creating socially optimised assets from across the full range of our content offering, helping our shows, movies and originals to reach a wide audience to drive Paramount+ business objectives. What will you be doing
• Creating made for social assets tailored to each specific platform and U.K. audiences
• Working with promos, full episodes, shoot images, episodic stills, key art, to craft social content to engage audiences
• Ideate, concept and create high impact social content
• Leverage seasons, thematic events, trends, social conversation and create high impact social content for P+ within those moments
• Spotting the social moment(s) in a show and creating a video edit for social that reaches and engages audiences at scale, attributing back to Paramount+
• Creating a solid volume of socially optimised assets each week, so you'll need to be confident working at pace with precision
• Ensuring all content is produced within brand guidelines and in-keeping with the brand tone of voice
• Localising centrally supplied global assets
• Captioning and subtitling
• Organising and media managing video assets
• Producing high-quality output whilst managing simultaneous work streams and projects
• Updating and refreshing existing video creative
• Re-formatting and reversioning social content for different platforms and to meet ad specs
• Sourcing library music to replace and enhance sound bed within the social edits
• Maintaining a steady flow of high-quality social video edits
• Working collaboratively with internal teams to create innovative, compelling social content
• Embrace the 'One ViacomCBS' approach and encourage collaboration and team working
• Be an ambassador for all VCNI channels, internally and externally
• Adopt and promote the ViacomCBS values and support a culture of inclusion

What skills do you need
• Experienced at editing highly engaging video content to an exceptional standard
• Passionate storyteller and media creator
• Highly self-motivated and creative
• Excellent sense of pacing and timing
• Hunger and drive to deliver creative excellence through video editing
• Design skills with a solid understanding of Photoshop and Illustrator
• Brilliant knowledge of what works on social media
• A keen eye for detail with a high standard of spelling, punctuation and grammar
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro
• Meticulous, organised and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and seamlessly transition between multiple workstreams under tight deadlines
• Exceptional time and project management skills
• Experience working to deadlines and in a creative production environment
• A solid understanding of social video platforms and formats
• Experience editing and creating for paid social media ad placements
• Ability to work alone under your own supervision but also to work in a team
• Ability to give and receive critical feedback in a team environment
• Effective communicator

It would be a bonus if you had
• Advanced proficiency in After Effect
• Audio editing experience
• Colour correction and grading images and videos
• Experience at a TV, Movies, SVOD or Entertainment company
