Overview & Responsibilities:

ViacomCBS Global Streaming Insights is responsible for developing a deep understanding of ViacomCBS streaming audiences around the world, then disseminating those findings within the company. Through multi-country research and insights initiatives, we support the ViacomCBS Networks International corporate teams. We collaborate with consumer insights teams in the US and abroad to champion regional findings and coordinate global results, supplying to ViacomCBS's vast audience expertise.

The Sr. Manager, Global Streaming Insights, is responsible for international streaming insights that help answer key business objectives for the streaming business on behalf of ViacomCBS's streaming brands, Paramount+ and Pluto TV. This role's primary responsibility is to lead primary insights projects that support the streaming marketing and strategy initiatives and to identify and track KPIs that help to monitor key metrics in the global streaming landscape. In addition to extensive analytical and interpersonal skills, this role requires someone who knows how to interpret data and consumer research, who has experience leading primary consumer insights projects and who has an understanding of the global streaming landscape. They must demonstrate the ability to see patterns, connect insights among consumers and to take a leadership role in project management. A candidate with a passion for media and international is preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Lead global streaming insights projects through primary research that helps identify key opportunities for the business based on insights
• Primary streaming insights projects include (but are not limited to) project that explore and visualize the streaming landscape in countries around the world, size the opportunity for Paramount+ and Pluto TV internationally, test and optimize marketing campaigns for Paramount+ and Pluto TV, establish a deep understanding of the unique selling points for these streaming services, and how these services can be improved and grow in usage/subscriptions
• Work directly with internal partners to identify key streaming needs and ensure the insights are continually addressing needs of the streaming business
• Sr. Manager will be expected to present directly to key VCNI streaming leadership teams
• Additional areas of exploration may include multi-platform and technology developments and usage as well as general audience insight areas
• For all projects, ensure outcomes are insightful and deliver on business needs; craft output to 'bring the audience to life' and champion communication of results throughout the organization
• Manage syndicated insight data sources and evangelize their use across the organization while demonstrating data for use by the wider company
• Work with the VP to support the overall VCNI business through insights projects, standard methodology and through leadership
• As part of the insights team, contribute to the maintenance and expansion of insights tools and systems for usage of the wider business

Qualifications:
• 6+ years in media research, preferable at a media owner (TV/digital) or at a research agency
• Strong experience and knowledge of primary research approaches
• Experienced with working in an international environment
• Bachelor's degree

• The ability to lead and handle multiple projects and changing priorities effectively in a complex, fast-paced business environment
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and ability to form strong professional and working relationships
• Experience communicating project findings to internal partners
• Experience in leading research projects with a high quality of insights being delivered
• A high level of accuracy, and attention to detail is critical
• Strategic problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to find and tell a clear story based on data
• Self-starter who is upbeat & hardworking, adaptable & customer focused
• Naturally curious, collaborative and passionate about consumer behavior and the media industry
• Must work well under pressure and be able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously
• Experience with syndicated reporting databases and tools such as MRI or any crosstab product such as SPSS
• Proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills; Able to write concisely and compellingly
• Proficiency in Spanish a plus
• Strong PC and PowerPoint skills a requirement
• The ability to be diplomatic with a high level of cultural sensitivity
