About the role
The Senior Director, Sustainability will play a key role in delivering Paramount's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy and program, in particular leading our sustainability agenda in the UK, and supporting the roll-out of sustainability initiatives in other Paramount international markets.

To this end, the Senior Director will receive primary signoff and support from the ESG team, with support and guidance on operational and content opportunities from leadership in the UK, and culture and workforce support and guidance from the OGI team in the UK.
Paramount's ESG and sustainability commitments are outlined in our annual ESG report, which can be found at paramount.com/sustainability. Our company-wide approach to this work is data-driven and informed by our most material impact areas, which are organised into three pillars:
• On-Screen Content & Social Impact (how we show up)
• Workforce & Culture (who we are), and

Within each pillar area, we have developed goals and targets that explain our ambition: to be a leader in ESG and sustainability, both within the media industry and beyond.
Paramount's UK businesses play a crucial role in outlining our path toward these commitments. They represent a pilot for our company-wide work to significantly reduce our environmental footprint across the coming decade.
Our UK agenda is built around our Peak Sustainability programme. Launched in 2022, Peak Sustainability comprises 7 public commitments:

• Collaborate with UK broadcasters on research to understand our impact and inspire change
• Build environmental awareness and responsibility into the UK business
• Be transparent about Paramount UK's sustainability commitments and progress
The Senior Director, Sustainability will lead the fulfilment of these commitments, working across the entire UK business and beyond. This includes identifying, managing, and measuring all of the environmental sustainability initiatives that inform Paramount's emissions footprint and its impact on our viewers' awareness, attitudes and behaviours in relation to climate change.
In addition to managing the environmental aspects of Paramount UK's commitment to sustainability, the Sustainability Director will lead culture and employee engagement initiatives to embed sustainability throughout the organisation.

• Represent Paramount UK in UK industry forums as needed.
• Work with the global ESG team to ensure comprehensive, timely and accurate UK data and evidence is gathered, analysed and reported in support of our commitments and strategy.
• Oversee TCFD, SBTi, and other relevant goal-setting frameworks and processes for the UK-specific footprint.
• Manage carbon offsets program and accounting, along with validation and verification of our environmental goals.
• Capture and chronicle success stories to inspire further internal and industry-wide change.
• Design and source and/or deliver education and training programmes internally and for partners in order to accelerate Paramount UK's delivery of its climate commitments.
