Responsible for A/R collections of various EMEA regions.

What will you be doing?

⦁ Responsible for the collection of outstanding debts for covered regions

⦁ Contacting customers and performing regular follow ups using various communication channels, including email, telephone calls.

⦁ Preparing periodic reports for management view, including aged A/R balances, bad debt risk, etc.

⦁ Managing & Solving customer disputes (ensuring accurate communication with markets & partners)

⦁ Supporting customers ad-hoc requests (statement of accounts, invoice copies, backup documentation, accounts reconciliations, etc.)

⦁ Maintaining strong knowledge of customer accounts and payment patterns for accurate cash forecasting

⦁ Providing immediate escalation of concerns such as changes in the customers payment trends/behaviour

⦁ Meeting individual cash collection targets (e.g. % of Overdue reduction, DSO, etc.

⦁ Supporting the Cash Application team in the account reconciliation process (addressing cash application issues and following-up with customers on missing documentation & remittances)

⦁ Working closely with Sales & Finance teams to troubleshoot collection challenges

⦁ Supporting the Credit and Legal departments on bankruptcy cases and other risk accounts

⦁ Keeping adequate records of customer contacts in SAP

⦁ Coding invoices using SAP collections module to track status of outstanding receivables

⦁ Providing detailed backup explanation of A/R balances to both internal & external auditors

⦁ Other ad hoc requests

What are we looking for?

⦁ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred, but not required

⦁ 2-3 years Billing/Collections/AR/Finance experience with general knowledge of accounting principles

⦁ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

⦁ Strong communication skills - oral, written, interpersonal

⦁ Analytical and problem-solving skills

⦁ Flexibility with work schedule, especially during critical times (e.g. monthly reporting deadlines, quarter close, etc.)

⦁ Demonstrated ability to be a great teammate

⦁ Possess strong work ethic and integrity

⦁ Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet critical deadlines

⦁ SAP Experience a plus
