The role

The Manager, User Acquisition & Growth is a part of the Marketing department, reporting to the Sr. Director of User, Acquisition & Growth, and will be responsible for leading, planning and executing acquisition and retention campaigns that drive MAUs and watch time of Pluto TV. This is a hybrid role in Toronto, with the possibility to work remotely.

Main responsibilities
• Develop data-driven user growth marketing strategies on mobile, web, and connected TV devices
• Create and execute marketing campaigns across Search, Paid Social, CTV, Display/Video, Mobile UAC, Apple Search Ads, etc.
• Manage the overall performance marketing budget and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to monitor performance and budgets across all channels
• Plan and launch A/B tests for creative optimization, ad copy, promotional cadence, and segment discovery
• Optimize and grow existing channels and identify, evaluate, and recommend new channels to test
• Drive the execution of the retention campaign strategies in close partnership with global cross-functional teams
• Cooperate closely with different stakeholders within the organization including but not limited to Tech & Product, BI, Creative, Finance, Content, and Public Relations teams
• Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the campaigns

Who are you?

We believe you are someone with a keen interest and enthusiasm in working within the fast-moving media industry with a passion for content and entertainment - particularly for TV, Movies, and streaming.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in performance marketing / user acquisition
• Proven experience across the major performance channels especially Google Ads, YouTube, Paid Social and Apple Search Ads. CTV ads, Amazon Advertising and Programmatic experience is a plus
• Technical understanding of mobile and web tracking, as well as attribution models and experience in monitoring and reporting using suitable tools (Adjust, Appsflyer, Kochava, etc)
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills, including experience translating large amounts of raw data into actionable intelligence.
• Proven track record in continuously delivering CAC as well as growth targets
• Strategically minded, taking a holistic multi-channel approach to customer acquisition efforts
• Enthusiastic, proactive, highly organized team player with passion for entertainment
• Fluent in English, French is a plus.
